Alpena Travel Hockey
Travel hockey represents the highest level of commitment to youth hockey. Players are required to participate in a tryout for which they are interested in playing to determine if they will make the team. Players are selected by a collection of predetermined evaluators. Travel teams are a greater time commitment, a greater financial commitment, and a greater physical commitment.
Before beginning this registration you will need to register with USA Hockey. USA Hockey membership fees are determined by birth year. The Michigan Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA) also has an affiliate fee. You must enter your player's USA Hockey confirmation number to begin registration.
This registration process will link your USA Hockey account with AHA's registration system for improved management of team throughout the season. It also allows for payment options.

Raffle Ticket Fundraiser
The Raffle Ticket Fundraiser is a way families can reduce the cost of hockey. You will select this option before checking out and the $100 will be added to your registration costs. Families will receive 10 raffle tickets.
- The Raffle Ticket Fundraiser is only required for the first two player registrations per family.
- Fundraiser raffle ticket fees can be recouped through cash raffle ticket sales.
Payments and Billing Options
We will accept a full upfront payment for the season, a payment plan, or a pay offline option. We accept major credit cards (a service charge will be applied during the payment process) or ACH payments using your banking account/routing numbers (a service charge will be applied during the payment process).
If you select the payment plan option, you will be required to pay the deposit established for each level and to enter your credit card or ACH banking information, which will be stored securely by a third party. Payment plans are scheduled to be auto-debited on the 1st of every month based on the schedule provided at registration.
If you select the pay offline option you must contact AHA at alpena.hockey.association@gmail.com notifying AHA of your selection. We will contact you with details to make your payment. You must make your cash or check payment within one week of your registration.

**All fees are due by Feb 1st. Any unpaid fees will result in a player being removed from their respective roster.
***The team will be doing a number of fundraisers throughout the season. These fundraisers will help to reduce and/or remove the payment schedules later in the season.
